Travelling Around the World

Dear Parents, we all have our passports and we are travelling from country to country around the world. The children are using their passports and earning stamps as a thank you for their fabulous work, their amazing manners and the huge effort they are putting into their learning.

Each child has chosen a country to research and follow during the Olympic Games. They have all identified their flags and made the flag for their country. Here is a sample below.

Our assembly in Week 6 Friday 26th August will be about the Olympics. I have discussed with the children what they need to wear for the assembly. If your child is not sure please ask. The plan has been to keep it simple.

In Science this week we have been propagating plants. Our focus this term is Biological Science and we have successfully grown Hairy Heads and learnt about what is needed for a plant to grow. Thechildren loved watching their Hairy Heads grow each day.

Thank you once again for all the parent help.

Have a great week.

Kind regards,
Paula Murphy
